With the festive season in full swing, Sportfive, working on behalf of Ferencváros, seeks to create a unique connection with supporters. This December, they reintroduced a gamified Advent Calendar. The challenge is to infuse the spirit of Christmas into each day and foster engagement with the offerings from sponsors.

The Advent calendar features a stellar cast of sponsors. The Magyar Posta, the Hungarian National Postal Service company, leads the way as the main sponsor, playfully embodying the role of Santa’s delivery service. Behind each window in the calendar stands a different company, offering supporters a delightful surprise. Fans eagerly log in, unveiling daily offers or participating in prize draws by answering simple questions.

The Jingle bell outcome: A symphony of success

The festive campaign transforms into a symphony of success. First and foremost, it welcomes a main sponsor and 24 daily sponsors, generating delightful sponsorship revenue for the club. At the same time, it brings in new sign-ups, growing the club´s supporter database. It also ignites daily fan engagement on social media and through direct marketing channels during the slow holiday season. 

The campaign serves as an important bridge between B2B and B2C, seamlessly connecting relevant audiences with the daily sponsors.

A gift that keeps on giving

This isn’t the first dance with the Advent Calendar for Ferencváros. Last year, a similar campaign garnered daily participation from 2,000 to 3,000 active supporters. The digital platforms echoed the festive cheer, reaching over 500,000 people and creating a merry buzz throughout the holiday season.

Ferencváros, with Sportfive’s touch, unwraps more than just an Advent Calendar; they gift their supporters a season filled with joy, engagement, and a sense of togetherness.
